CAT FOOD WITHOUT CROQUETTES

I have no more kibble for my cat

I have no more kibble for my cat! What to do, what can I feed my cat instead of kibble?

Don't panic, I also had the same trouble. While I always have 1 bag of kibble in advance, I had skipped recommending it and had no more reserves.

So I inquired about the foods I could give to my two cats while waiting for the next delivery. So I share with you below:

How to feed a cat when you have run out of kibble ?

As with us humans, a cat's meal should be balanced and adapted to its needs. Here is the typical composition of the diet to give to a cat as a replacement for dry food:

  • 60% meat white, poultry, rabbit, duck, pork or fish boiled or steamed, tuna, canned sardines
  • 20%  cooked vegetables steamed or boiled (zucchini, sweet potatoes, carrots, peas, green beans, pumpkin, pumpkin, etc.)
  • 20%  rice (well done) or paws.

How much food instead of kibble?

For homemade food, the daily ration is calculated based on the cat's weight. It should represent approximately 40g to 50 grams of food per kilo the cat does.

For example, if your cat weighs 5 kilos, you can feed her up to 250 grams of food during the day. If you give your cat 2 meals a day, the meal should represent 120 to 130 grams.

Here is a small indicative table of the recommended daily ration for a cat (food as a replacement for kibble):
